Description of Service

Match with a Therapist provides mental health assessment tools, therapist matching services, journaling features, and educational resources. Our Service is designed to help individuals understand their mental health and connect with appropriate mental health professionals. We are not a healthcare provider and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Therapist Directory

We provide a directory of mental health professionals for informational purposes. We do not endorse, guarantee, or verify the qualifications, licensing, or quality of care of any therapist listed in our directory. It is your responsibility to verify a therapist's credentials and determine if they are appropriate for your needs. Any relationship you form with a therapist is between you and that therapist.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Match with a Therapist and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service, such as journal entries and assessment responses. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will not share your personal content without your consent, except as described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Match with a Therapist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the past twelve months.

Crisis Situations

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
